If you are going to use C# for an application using RIL (windows mobile), then you are wasting your time. It seems that when minimize the form, the thread handling the RIL exits. I didn't investigate deeper, maybe there is a fix for this, but for proving it just realised a simple form with RIL initialization, no other components than a button. After minimizing the form, the result was that after sending APDU commands to RIL the callback wasn't invoked. The debugger shows that the thread was terminated, when the form is minimized.
Had to switch back to c++.
Hope this help someone still evaluating...
